I thought you might find this infographic helpful – it gives useful tips about how to ensure your website is accessible for all: https://blog.red-website-design.co.uk/2017/08/15/make-website-accessible-visitors-disabilities-infographic/#more-17938
The good news is that WordPress and the theme design already do quite a bit of the hard work for us – using clear font styles and plenty of contrast, giving us easy ways to include alt tags and descriptions for images etc – but it is always worth bearing in mind that some folk may be accessing the site via screen readers, or without colour as an easy identifier, or with a rubbish wifi connection, or just with a short attention span (I think that’s probably all of us now!) – so it’s wise to keep things as uncluttered and clear as possible.
Hope that helps.
