If, on trying to access your site, you come face to face with this scary looking message:

Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.

please don’t panic! Just get in touch with us, and we will contact the hosting provider to reset your site’s bandwidth.

You can, however, take it as an indicator that your site may be getting a bit ‘full’ – and use it as an opportunity to check things over, make sure you’re not carrying lots of excess content that is no longer relevant.

3 days after Rebecca posted this – guess what error message I got. Quick e-mail to her – forwarded to mark and it was sorted within 24 hours. Simples! Couldn’t post until today because I was at Windermere [sans laptop] for a pre-retirement course.
